Not because it has anything to do with vampires (or werewolves),
but because it is a hinge hour,
an in-between time,
an even-ing of sorts,
a not-quite night, a darkening of day.
It's best experienced under an open sky,
especially with a companion:
Of course, twilight doesn't last long,and neither does Cleo's patience.

Mazie came bounding up behind her the moment that I snapped this,
and it was fur and claws galore from that point.
Mazie lost.
