Gardeners' Digest: December Garden Girl Blog Hop (Giveaway Closed)

Welcome to the Gardeners' Digest, a monthly update from the Garden Girls, the design team at Two Peas in a Bucket. We'd love it if you'd visit each of our blogs today to see what's in bloom in the Garden this month. 

I've been working on a compilation of my favorite photos from 2012.  Each year I pull together one of my favorite photos from each month of the year, and I assemble them on a "retrospective" layout. This is a peek at the title block, which is built upon a foundation of American Crafts Powder Glitter Tape, and which includes a variety of uber-cute flair/badges from Ormolu and Evalicious. 

Over the past few weeks, the gallery at Two Peas in a Bucket has been packed with colorful and festive layouts. Here are some of the many (many) layouts (and peas) that I've bookmarked recently:

(1) Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spritz. Once I saw how the Mint Green Color Shine looked on the page, I stocked up on all of the colors above (and then some).  Don't let the colors above fool you -- each one has a gorgeous iridescent sheen.  Seeing is believing:

(2) Crate Paper Fourteen. The colors in this line are for me. Would you just look at that green? 

(3) American Crafts Love Is in the Air XOXO Patterned Paper.  There are so many reasons to love this 12 x 12 beauty: the color, the stripes, the splatters, the B-side ledger pattern...oh, and those clouds! 

(4) Studio Calico Darling Dear Calendar Pockets.  I used all twelve of these on the year-in-review layout I mentioned earlier in this post. 

(5) Dear Glitter Foam Thickers. I'm crazy about this font -- and the fact that these come in several different colors!
