No Fooling

Yes, it is April Fools' Day, and no, I won't be playing a joke on you.
My daughter, however, is not above a good prank. She takes after her father that way, I guess.  A moment ago I heard her howling with laughter, and when I went to check on her, she had the phone to her ear, and was gasping for breath.

Apparently, she had telephoned her Doctor Who-loving friend and waited for her to answer. And then, in her softest, most childlike voice, she said...

"Mummy?"

"I'm sorry, who is this?"

"Mummy?  Are you my mummy?"

If you're a Doctor Who fan, then you know the effect that this phone call would have on a 15-year-old girl, and if you know my daughter, then you can picture that sinister laugh of hers.  She gets that laugh from me.

But no April Foolery for me -- instead, I am all about embracing the beginning of April as a time to welcome all things spring, and all things color!  If you haven't seen it yet, then I must point you in the direction of the Two Peas design team gallery, where the team kicked off the first day of April by immersing ourselves in color, color, color.  My contribution?  GREEN!
I definitely put my heart on the page.

Today is also a great day for a giveaway, don't you think? How about a chance to win a spot in Amy Tan's new Two Peas workshop
