ICAD #9: Compass

This week's map theme, coupled with today's "compass" prompt, brought to mind one of my favorite poems by John Donne, "A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning." The compass metaphor in that poem always sets my heart a-flutter. I included that part of the poem over map paper softened with white acrylic paint.
